Viktoria designs LOZENA's collections and leads sourcing, product development, production and quality control for the company. Viktoria’s mother and grandmother inspired her to start LOZENA. Her grandmother was a seamstress and folk singer in Bulgaria - a master of sewing, leatherwork and embroidery. Her mother also designed and created her own garments, eventually spurring Viktoria’s interest in fashion. She holds a B.A. from Indiana University’s School of Journalism, and before starting LOZENA, Viktoria reported on environment and culture for Novinite.com, the leading English-language news source in Bulgaria. She brings a passion for environmentalism to LOZENA, using only the highest-quality natural, organic and recycled materials in her garments. Viktoria also works to revive authentic Slavic traditions through her designs, ultimately putting the Balkans on the fashion map.
